I guess this will be a test of my dedication to posting on a blog. I feel somewhat behind the times since I don't have a blog. Really, it's because I'm lazy and never have anything interesting to say. But we'll give this a go.
'Songs About Me' is a country song by Trace Adkins. I really think he nails it on the head with that one. People always ask me if there are certain verses in the Bible that I think of when I'm feeling down and need a quick pick-me-up. Unfortunately, songs come to mind before verses. I guess that's just how I'm programmed. I think that's why I like country music so much, too. There pretty much is a country song for everything and sometimes when I can't explain my feelings, I'll point someone towards a country song that gets rather close.
And country music isn't depressing. In my humble opinion, of course. Sometimes, listening to it pulls me out of a funk even quicker than WLO. Right now, I really like the song "It Happens" by Sugarland, among others. Really, on any given day, there are probably 20 songs I really like. Some grow old and some have grown on me.
Anywho, that's the reason for the current theme of my blog. For those who are friends of mine on Facebook (bleh, Facebook) you know I'm a sorry excuse for an updater. My profile picture hasn't changed in a year and a half. So, this will probably be the theme of my blog for a long time, maybe even unto eternity. *sweatdrops*
Alright, enough of this. I'm off to play WLO.
